The new detachable power cord is the perfect solution to the weak original hard wired mount. Footprint of the unit is smaller than I expected. I highly recommend this accessory.

The perfect mount for a GPS system. Much better than the windshield mount, as there is no possible melting of a suctioncup to the window because of the sun. This device securly holds the GPS in place, with no worry of sliding while driving. Best of all it is a charger as well with an adapter for the car!
