I will only use SanDisk in my D300. I have two 4gig. I do sports and nature photography mainly. It works great even at 8fps. If you spend that much money on a higher end dslr,spend the money on a good memory card so you can get the best performance from your camera.

On the advice of my son, a professional photographer, I got the SanDisk 4GB. It has been excellent. No complaints on quality and after I edit a photo I can still access it in my camera.ie, it is not reformatted. Another product I have used in the past automatically reformats after editing and my camera doesn't recognize the images. Quite a problem as you must wait until the card is full or nearly full before you can edit. With capcity for several hundred images that becomes a real problem.
My only negative is I might have been better off with two 2GB SanDisks. 4GB is more than I need, but then it leaves me room to grow. Maybe that isn't all bad!
Regarding the ability to edit; it is simple and intuitive. I am technically challenged, but even I get great results!
