The built-in database consists of Coast Guard navigation aids such as lights, buoy lists, and day markers in addition to worldwide cities and states. The WAAS receiver has an internal quad helix antenna for faster and more reliable accuracy. An enormous 1MB of memory is built-in to store information downloads from one of Garmin's CD-ROMs. Runs on 2 AA batteries for about 18 hours (not included).
