This unit ROCKS ! Long handles provide EXCELLENT control of motion and tightening the rubberized grips locks the setting. Unit has 3 spirit levels and angle indicators on each adjustment. The quick release plate is terrific, but it MAY have to be removed so your camera will fit in its case. I've only owned this unit for a few months, but used it plenty and have nothing but praise for it. you'll never need to replace this unit, unless its stolen. Super quality construction and function.
