I found it almost impossible to punch out the shape. I have others by the same manufacturer and have no problem with them at all. But this one takes superhuman strength. It may be defective. I didn't return it because I live out in the boonies and am disabled, so it's just too much hassle to send it back for a replacement. I just don't know if it is defective or because it is a double punch. It's almost impossible to use.
