SRT1 Super Resolution Technology upconverts and enhances 480i/p and 720p input signals for a more detailed picture. AutoView uses an external light sensor to automatically adjust various picture quality settings based on the amount of ambient room lighting and the type of video content you are watching for an improved viewing experience. AutoView monitors and adjusts brightness, sharpness, contrast, color, and SRT1 settings to improve picture quality.
ClearFrame 120Hz Anti-Blur Technology -- This advanced system virtually eliminates motion blur without decreasing image brightness, or adding flicker. Images are now crisp and clear regardless of image motion. ClearFrame doubles the displayed frame rate to 120 frames per second or 120Hz. ClearFrame utilizes superior Motion Vector Frame Interpolation (MVFI) technology. Utilizing the power of the PixelPure processor, MVFI creates new frames, inserting them between the original frames. PixelPure 4G takes advantage of both the 14-bit internal digital video processor and the 10-bit display panel to reach 16,384 levels of gradation, producing a smooth and natural picture.

I compared many tv's before i chose the toshiba. I couldn't be happier. This was the best price I could find, but I was so nervous to purchase a tv online. With much anxiety I took the plunge and ordered my tv and everything exceeded my expectations!!

Great Big corner to corner beautiful picture! It took me a few days to get the color just right because of all the color adjustments available, too many to name. Once adjusted, GREAT! I watched several football and basketball games along with 20 or so movies and couldn't see ANY blurr or pixel trails whatsoever! I expected a little in a picture this large and sharp. None.I only wish Comcast and/or Directv would have 1080P DVR's on the market. Even at 1080I, This unit is terrific![...] Most units this large, and smaller, had a rippling to the bezel or frame around the screen. This beauty has a piano black, perfectly straight double bezel! Every inch of this unit is solid. I looked long, hard at all the units out there and they could be dissected under close scrutiny. I couldn't find a flaw in this one. I only have a 1080P upscaling DVD player and the movies are stunning. Can't wait to see Blue-ray! Needless to say I am very pleased with this Toshiba.
