The SanDisk Extreme III cards are great. I purchased 3 of the 16 GB cards and use them when I am shooting action photography and vehicle features for magazines with my Canon 40D. The card is able to keep up with both the camera and the action when we are shooting fast paced motorsports like drag racing, rock racing and more. I have never had problems with a SanDisk card, I can't say the same for Brand "P" cards!!! I would recommend the SanDisk cards to anyone who wants to shoot and needs to make sure that their images are stored safe and sound!

I shoot a lot of railroad photos and wanted to begin shooting RAW and JPEG. I needed a card that had space to let me do that. I have been a San Disk Extreme III user for a couple of years and I have had nothing but great response from them.

Needed a larger card for my new Sony a900. Card writes, and downloads extremely quick. Gives me additional storage for the large files created by this camera. Highly recommended.

Sandisk software comes on Mini Disk. If you have a CD or DVD that takes the disk, or does not have a tray that extends, e.g., iMac, you cannot install the software.
